Serviform America was proud to once again join friends and colleagues from across the diemaking and diecutting industry for the IADD South Chapter’s 19th Annual Golf Outing, held Thursday, September 17, at Jamestown Park Golf Course in North Carolina.
This year brought the biggest turnout yet, according to our National Sales Director, Rick Ruckh. Serviform America has supported the outing for the past 10 years, and we were happy to continue that tradition by sponsoring several holes and, of course, getting out on the course ourselves.
Representing Serviform America was Rick, joined by Mauro Tomelleri, Sales and Marketing Director for Serviform Italy.

For Mauro, who was visiting from Italy, the outing came with another milestone: his second time ever playing golf.
He may have a few rounds to go before golf rivals calcio back home, but a beautiful day in North Carolina surrounded by industry friends isn’t a bad way to get some practice in.
A golfer pauses with his driver on a sunny, tree-lined course. Sponsor signs stand behind him.
Of course, the scorecard wasn’t really the point.
Events like the IADD South Chapter Golf Outing give us something that’s increasingly valuable: time together outside the usual day-to-day conversations about machines, production schedules, parts, and projects.
Rick and Mauro had the chance to catch up with customers and longtime industry friends throughout the day, including Nate Conner, Vice President at Ameritek. They also spent time with our sister company, Carton Craft Supply, represented on the course by Technical Representative Jerome Wojciechowski.
Bringing together people from Serviform America, Serviform Italy, Carton Craft Supply, and companies throughout the industry is a big part of what makes events like this worthwhile. For all the conversations we have throughout the year about machines, production, parts, and projects, it’s good to trade the shop floor for the golf course, catch up face-to-face, and enjoy some time together outside of work.
The biggest turnout yet, great weather, and good time spent with industry friends. We couldn’t ask for much more.

We’re grateful to the International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) and the South Chapter for putting together another great outing, and to everyone who spent part of the day with us.
After 10 years of supporting this event, we’re glad to see it continuing to grow, and we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to get together.
As for Mauro, we’ll see if round number three happens on this side of the Atlantic—or back in Italy.
