Compare every Cutlite Penta laser

Serviform America sells five Cutlite Penta die board lasers: three flatbed, one rotary, and one combo that cuts both. The biggest differences are what each one cuts, the table or rotary size, and how hard it is built to run.

Cutlite Penta laser questions

What is the difference between the Cutlite Penta LTF and LTFP?

The LTF and LTFP are both flatbed CO2 lasers. The LTF is compact, has tables up to 2200 x 1550 mm, uses 750 to 1500 W EL.EN laser sources, and is built for a moderate number of dies a day. The LTFP has tables up to 3050 x 1550 mm, a 120 mm Z axis, magnetic linear drives, 1000 to 3000 W laser sources, and is engineered for up to three shifts a day.

Which Cutlite Penta laser cuts both flat and rotary dies?

The LTF DUO is Cutlite Penta's combo laser. It cuts flatbed dies up to 3050 x 1550 mm and rotary dies from 177 to 808 mm in diameter and up to 3000 mm long on one system. Rotary shells are mounted on an offline CP Rotup Plus station while the machine keeps cutting.

Which Cutlite Penta laser is for rotary dies only?

The OFR is a dedicated rotary laser. It is fully enclosed with walk-in access for operators, cuts rotary dies from 174 to 808 mm in diameter and up to 3080 mm long, and includes the CP Rotup Plus offline mounting station as a standard feature.

Can a Cutlite Penta laser cut steel as well as dieboard?

CP Steel Plus is an optional capacitive cutting head on the LTF, LTFP, OF, and LTF DUO. It switches between plywood and steel with no lens changes or manual adjustments. Optional copper pins give the cutting bed a stable, non-reflective support surface for metal.

What table sizes do Cutlite Penta flatbed lasers come in?

The LTF has 1713 (1750 x 1350 mm), 1715 (1750 x 1550 mm), and 2015 (2200 x 1550 mm) tables. The LTFP has 1715, 2015, 2515 (2550 x 1550 mm), and 3015 (3050 x 1550 mm). The OF has 2015, 2515, and 3015. The LTF DUO has a 3015 (3050 x 1550 mm) flatbed table.

What laser sources do Cutlite Penta die board lasers use?

The LTF uses EL.EN radiofrequency CO2 laser sources from 750 to 1500 W. The LTFP, OF, OFR, and LTF DUO use Coherent Rofin Sinar SLAB3 CO2 laser sources, listed on the product pages at 1000 to 3000 W.
